Inputs

From organic and Non-GMO seed to the fertility you need to grow a great crop, we’ve got you covered.

Seed

Everything begins with the seed, and that’s where our relationship with you can start too.

We’ve had our own IP soybean program for over 35 years now, and work closely with Blue River Organic Seed (see their 2019-2020 seed catalog here), AgriGold, and Legend Seeds to round out our offerings.

Pipeline Foods programs provide quality seed and a contract. When you work with us, you’ll purchase seed from Pipeline Foods or Pipeline Foods approved “Certified” seed stock, and we’ll buy back your crop. More information and pricing can be found here (link to brochure)

If you’re looking for seed outside of our IP programs, we have you covered. By working closely with our partners, we can get you just what you need, from organic corn, beans, and forages to high-yielding conventional hybrids.

Fertility

We know that not everyone has a manure source next door, and even if you do, it might not fit perfectly into your system. That’s why Pipeline Foods is offering heat-treated poultry litter pellets in both Canada and the United States. Poultry manure gives farmers an easy-to-handle product that includes Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, Calcium, Magnesium, Sulfur (8-10 lbs. per ton), Manganese, Copper, Zinc, Chlorine, Boron, Iron, and Molybdenum.  The pellets can be used for organic operations as long as a statement is issued that chickens are not kept in the dark and can turn around 360 degrees. Pellets measure in the 4-5% Nitrogen, 4-4.5% Phosphorus, and 2-3% Potassium range per short ton, with up to 70%-80% being available year one.
